Duties- Perform laboratory tests and procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.- Collect, process, and analyze samples, including blood, urine, and tissue specimens.- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.- Prepare reagents, solutions, and media for testing purposes.- Maintain accurate records of test results and data management.- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.- Collaborate with other laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.Experience- Minimum of two year of experience as a Laboratory Technician or similar role in a clinical laboratory setting.- Proficiency in performing various laboratory techniques, such as blood sampling, hematology, chemistry, microbiology, coagulation, urinalysis, and blood banking.- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and quality control procedures.- Ability to accurately record and manage data using laboratory information systems (LIS).- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Note: Experience in phlebotomy or working in a hospital setting is a plus.Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
